Ori was my oldest sister. We were 13 years apart, with 3 other siblings in between. She always took care of me. When I was home sick from school, she took me with her to her classes at University of Hawaii. We would sit in the back of the huge lecture hall and she would make sure I had snacks and my coloring book and crayons to keep me busy. Her classmates thought I was her daughter! Even as we got older, and our hair started to gray (mine more than hers), people STILL mistook me for her daughter! She would look at them with her soft eyes and in a calm even-toned voice, she would tell them "No. She's my YOUNGEST sister. Thank you very much." as we both walked away, rolling our eyes.
