Paul Paulo Kamau's Obituary
Paul "Paule" Kamau, aged 66, of Kane'ohe, Hawaii, passed away on September 13, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1957 in Opihikao on the Big Island to Lillian Kuamoo and Hartwell Kamau. Paule dedicated 27 years of service to the Hawai'i Army National Guard, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He also held positions at Western Waterproofing and as the respected foreman for Malu'olu Ranch. Paule was a Castle High School graduate who carried the spirit of aloha in all his endeavers. Known for his bright smile and infectious laugh, Paule was a pillar in the Kane'ohe community, often seen catering local events and sharing his love for Hawaiian food. He will be remembered for his most generous heart and as a man who held himself with dignity and pride. He enjoyed traveling (#adventureswithpaulnmitzi), body surfing, the comfort of couch surfing with his TV remote, and the simple pleasures of good company, food and whiskey.
He leaves behind his wife, Mitzi; children, Paul "Ikaika" (Janell), Mahealani, Lyndsey (Matuni); and his cherished grandchildren, Kau'i, Janson, Lisima'ani, Lalelei, Sosaia, Cody and Kaila. He is also survived by his siblings, Hartwell "Tabu" (Joann), David "Bum" (Beryl), Rose "Sweetie" (Michael), Benson (Charlene), Michael (Cathy), Larry, and Maile (Brian), and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Paule was preceded in death by his sibling, Ling "Ting" Kamau.
