I remember Randy from the Army Nurse Corps Reserves when I joined the unit in 1989. I found him to be "good people" we always had fun on drill weekend and the two weeks active duty at Tripler Army Medical Center. It seems we got promoted the same time. However I retired first and occasionally I'd run into Randy iin the public venue or online. I will miss this man. My condolences to the family
He was a great person helping others and seems to be always calm and collective. He is someone who you can trust with his opinion. Our sincere condolences to the family.
Randy and I met when we were both hired by Queens for the same job in 2006 and shared an office for the next six months. He was a great office partner and very funny friend. When I left Queens and moved to Maui, Randy continued to have my back. He had moved on to Tripler, and stayed in touch with me, urging me periodically to complete the voluminous paperwork to come to work there saying, "There is a great opportunity for you here." I ended up working at Tripler for 10 years and for the DOD for 15 years. Thank you Col Retired Randy Jensen. Thank you for being a true friend.
I didn't know Randy well as I am a relatively new friend of Kathy's but even so, his generous spirit was obvious. Whenever we went out for lunch together, he would always treat us. Thank you, Randy.
