I am so grateful to God for putting Rob in my life through Emmaus.
I was privileged to spend a lot of time one on one with him getting to know him and getting to know God more. Nancy and I were truly blessed to be able to call Rob and Lisa friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
My Mother , June Kutzke , took care of Rob and his siblings several summers at Kelleys Island. She would always tell me what a wonderful young man Bruce.: a.k.a. Rob was becoming . She always told him how smart he was and what a great future he had ahead of him. He was just a kid in junior high in those days and sometimes wasn’t very confident about his abilities. We watched him blossom over the years. What a blessing he was to know and love. He will always be with us.

I had the privilege of knowing Rob for over four decades, beginning with our time in the Army’s 35th JAG Graduate Course and later at the Army Claims Service. His faith and integrity shaped everything he did. Rob and Lisa sponsored me on a Walk to Emmaus, and their example deepened my faith. My wife and I stayed in close touch after our Army days, visiting the churches he pastored and sharing a few memorable cruises. I will miss him dearly. Rob is now fully healed and has entered the gates of larger life. Well done, good and faithful servant.
I am grateful to have been in a Clergy Covenant Group with Rob. You can see Rob and Lisa in the dark photo when our covenant group went out to dinner with our spouses. Rob loved Jesus and loved people. He dealt with difficult issues with grace and humility. He enjoyed life by the water and was a great host. Rob will be missed.
