Wayne Jun Tsukazaki's Obituary
Wayne Jun Tsukazaki, 54, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on January 14, 2017. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on September 22, 1962, to Rieko (Takeshita) and Ushio Tsukazaki. Wayne was a graduate of Kaimuki High School, Class of 1980 and attended Honolulu Community College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He worked at the Bank of Hawaii for 18 years, first as a Receiving Teller and then a Senior Teller. He later returned to the University, as a Transcripts Clerk with the University of Hawaii Manoa, Office of the Registrar.
Wayne had a passion for Denver Broncos football. He was what you would call a REAL Denver Bronco Fan, complete with the RDBF shrine. His love for Broncos football came second only to his love for his family.
Wayne was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his mother, Rieko Tsukazaki; sister, Nancy Fumiko Tsukazaki (Chase) Kawakami; niece, Reina Kawakami; nephew, Rylan Kawakami and furry niece Penny Kawakami.
Celebration of Life service for Wayne will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Diamond Head Mortuary; visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., service to begin at 5:00 p.m.
Inurnment to be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Valley of the Temples, Ocean View Terrace Nature Garden.
