Aloha to the family of Wilbur Chang. I became friends with Wilbur through the Windward Orchid Society. My husban, Doug served as a HOS judge and an AOS judge with Wilbur before his death in 2000. I will treasure fond memories of Wilbur and his fascinating orchids. He was such a gentle man and will be greatly missed. Sorry that I am unable to attend the funeral today.##imported-begin##Babara Schafer##imported-end##
Fond memories of a kindness when I was a beginner at orchids - Wilbur invited me to see his orchid house, and of course he was very generous with plants. He will be much missed at Windward Orchid Society. Aloha, Jane.##imported-begin##Jane Laninga##imported-end##
To be counted as a friend of Wilbur was an honor. He generously shared with us valuable orchid growing tips and gave us ideas to help keep our club strong. I will always treasure my memories of sitting in his garage, weeding bulbophyllums with him and Elizabeth and listening to his many interesting stories of times gone by. I will miss him very much.Karen KimW.O.S.##imported-begin##Karen Kim##imported-end##
