I had the honor of meeting William at his home this past year and was very impressed with his vast aviation background and we talked story about his days at UAL. His son Sheldon is a good friend and has his Dads great skills as a Mechanic at Hawaiian Airlines where I have the privilege of working with Sheldon. Prayers of sympathy and a heartfelt Aloha to the passing of this great man. God's blessings of love and comfort to all family and friends.

Dear Mrs. Burgher and Family, My name is Vincent Cautero, and I attended Roxbury High School in Succasunna, New Jersey, with Bill. I was very saddened when I received the news of Bill's passing in May. The last time I spoke with him was at our class's reunion (I don't remember if it was our 40th or 50th reunion). I remember that he won the award at the reunion for the classmate who had traveled the farthest. That was when I found out he was living in Hawaii. It was great to see him after such a long time.
